BLU Umbria IGT is a red wine made from selected grapes of the Merlot varietal. Maceration of the vinoron along with the skins brings out the depth of flavor of the wine, which is then aged for twelve months in French oak barrels. Ruby red with violet highlights and an aftertaste of cranberry with herbal notes are the hallmarks of BLU wine.

With medium tannin and not too much acidity, the wine pairs well with chicken and other light meats, as well as lightly spiced red meat.
