The winery was founded in 1870 by Abraham Teperberg and his son Zeev Zaid Teperberg. Managed by Moti Teperberg, it is now one of Israel’s leading wineries, producing more than 100 varieties of wine and grape juice. The company sells more than 4 million bottles a year worldwide. Teperberg is one of Israel’s best-known wineries.

Cabernet Sauvignon Essence is the product of two large vineyards located in the Upper Galilee and the Ephraim Hills. Each contributes to the character of the wine and this has led to the creation of a full, deep and harmonious wine. After malolactic fermentation, the wine began an 18-month maturation process in new French oak wooden barrels. After the maturation process, the wine was bottled and continued to mature for a further 10 months before their release.
