The winery was founded in 1870 by Abraham Teperberg and his son Zeev Zaid Teperberg. Managed by Moti Teperberg, it is now one of Israel’s leading wineries, producing more than 100 varieties of wine and grape juice. The company sells more than 4 million bottles a year worldwide. Teperberg is one of Israel’s best-known wineries.

This Israeli wine is made from Merlot (90%) and Petit Verdot (10%) varieties. After harvesting, the grapes arrived at the winery early in the morning. The stems were separated from the grapes and after gentle pressing the fermentation processes began, including malolactic fermentation to stabilise and soften the wine. Fermentation continues for 7 days at 25° C. Vision Merlot is matured in French and American oak barrels for 5 months. This wine has a cherry aftertaste, notes of caramel and smoke. It has refreshing acidity and is extremely pleasant to drink.
