The winery was founded in 1870 by Abraham Teperberg and his son Zeev Zaid Teperberg. Managed by Moti Teperberg, it is now one of Israel’s leading wineries, producing more than 100 varieties of wine and grape juice. The company sells more than 4 million bottles a year worldwide. Teperberg is one of Israel’s best-known wineries.<\/p>\n

Legacy Petite Sirah is an exceptional wine, coming from the best parcels of the AYALON VALLEY vineyard, a valley located about thirty kilometres west of the Holy City of Jerusalem. The characteristically cool climate of the valley has a marked effect on the wine, which is matured in oak barrels (French oak) for 18 months, resulting in unparalleled aromas of roasted wood. The wine has a delicate flavour and a rich texture. The wine’s intense dark red colour is characterised by an aromatic balance of raspberry and cherry fruit that allows the wine to enjoy a long finish. It is a wine with a maturation potential of more than 10 years.<\/p>\n
